In 2009 Per­forma, along with SFMOMA and Port­land Green Cul­tural Projects, com­mis­sioned 11 con­tem­po­rary film and video artists to pro­duce their own ren­der­ings of the orig­i­nal 11 parts. New Skin for the Old Cer­e­mony com­piles 11 short films, each set to a track from Leonard Cohen’s 1974 album of the same name.
